Happy first day of school! 📚✏️ Teachers, s Happy first day of school! 📚✏️

Teachers, students, parents, administrators, and anyone in between—we are praying for an amazing first day and rest of the school year! We can’t wait to hear the stories of how God meets you in the classroom this year!
What an amazing weekend of celebrating all that Go What an amazing weekend of celebrating all that God has done this summer! 🎉☀️

Thank you to everyone who devoted their time, prayers, and various giftings to investing in the kids and youth camps these past few months! We are so excited to see what God will continue and begin in this next school year!
In continuation of our new mini-series, use this p In continuation of our new mini-series, use this prayer as a guide towards embracing sleep as a way to glorify God tonight. Allow yourself to be reminded of your limitations in an act of surrender to our unlimited God.
July 24 on the same day as Sunday service? Sounds July 24 on the same day as Sunday service? Sounds to us like an opportunity to celebrate Christmas in the middle of July! Come to service ready for some Christmas cookies, iced hot chocolate, and Christmas spirit. Feel free to wear red, green, or Christmas apparel if you have any conducive to the weather!

While you’re at it … why not come a little early for some pre-service prayer? We’ve been gathering every Sunday in July from 11-11:30 to pray together. It’s been such an encouraging time for those present. You’ve got two more weeks to make it out! Join us in the prayer chapel (across from the bathrooms, next to the kitchen) Sunday at 11 AM.
This Sunday, we started a mini-series on embracing This Sunday, we started a mini-series on embracing ourselves as limited so we can embrace and magnify God as unlimited. This week we talked about sleep as a daily reminder that we are limited—that God is all powerful and we aren’t. As you go to sleep tonight, we encourage you to use this prayer as a way of reminding yourself of that!

Ever secretly wondered why church today seems so d Ever secretly wondered why church today seems so different than church ‘back then’?

The early church was by no means perfect—they had PLENTY of messes of their own—but the picture painted in Acts 2:42-47 (see slide 6️⃣) is one of passionate worship, dedicated prayer, awe-inducing miracles, family-like community, regular meals, and sacrificial, voluntary generosity that compelled the world around them to stop and see Jesus.

Does this sound like your experience of the Christian life?

For most of us, the honest answer is no. Maybe some of the dissonance can be explained by the fact that we’ve oriented our lives around something other than the gospel of Jesus.

See if one of these ‘other gospels’ (adaptations of Acts 2) from Sunday’s message sticks out to you, and ask for the Holy Spirit’s help in making His dream for the church today a reality.

(If you said “ouch” while reading any of these … you’re not alone! 😬)
"I had the opportunity to share with my mom that I "I had the opportunity to share with my mom that I was safe when she called. We have to recognize that there were many moms, fathers and family members that called out to loved ones that weren't able to respond back." —Kris H, Next Gen. Director

As of Sunday, it’s been 6 years since our Orlando community was rocked by a mass shooting at Pulse Night Club.

In service, we were presented with a challenge to our initial responses:

- If your initial response is to pray, and keep praying, we challenge you to pray for God to move your hands and feet to action.
- If your initial response is to take action, we challenge you to pray that the comfort of God—the only thing that could bring any sort of comfort to a grief like this—would surround the hearts and minds of those that are suffering.

Maybe if we move out of our comfort zones and into the Kingdom that God calls us to, we would see transformation happen.
327 kids and youth, 113 volunteers, 2 camps, 1 pur 327 kids and youth, 113 volunteers, 2 camps, 1 purpose: to spread the message of Jesus.

Summer camps were kicked off this past week at UC with VBS and 6th Grade Camp running simultaneously! With the effort of inter-generational volunteers and high school leaders, kids and youth from all around the community were brought into learning more about Jesus.

We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the rest of this summer! Please be praying for UC Kids Ministry and EPIC Youth Orlando as they continue to pour into the next generation this summer!
