Vessel Orlando is a worshiping community of University Carillon. We are a community sent to help anyone and everyone become a follower of Jesus.
Across the street from the University of Central Florida, University Carillon had a vision to expand its reach to the surrounding community with its heart set on the younger generation. While the desire is to reach the younger generation, God continues to blow wide the limits of our imagination and expand our vision. This vision is Vessel.
As a church, our vision is to be an outpost of God’s present and future Kingdom, where Jesus is proclaimed and people experience life and freedom in His name. We desire to be counter-cultural on behalf of our local culture, not against it. To do this, we are cultivating a community where disciples make disciples who live out their faith through holy, loving and authentic living.
We gather on Sundays to worship God, study scripture, encourage one another and learn to listen to and follow the direction of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Sunday service should be a catalyst for faithful service and witness throughout the week. We want to be a community where people are encouraged, equipped, and released into ministry anywhere and everywhere. Our desire is not to simply gather, but to gather and scatter for the glory of God and the sake of the world.
