Ships are not made for the safety of the shore. There, they may be safe, but they are also quite useless. Ships are made for open water, for the waves, wind and wild unpredictability of the deep. We too, are created for deeper things. To navigate the currents and complexities of life, God has given us “ships” – relationships, worship, leadership, discipleship, friendships. These ships are the necessary vessels God has gifted us with to face whatever comes our way with confidence and courage.
